Multiculturalism is a topic that is causing increasing controversy on the old continent. Especially considering the clashes and contradictions involved in promoting feminism alongside Islam. Often, the same advocates of open borders forget that not all cultures are equal. Even less so those that allow child marriage.
Germany is home to a mosque that offers a preparatory course for marriage; aimed at girls aged 13 and older. The invitation was published by the Omar Al-Faruq Centre as part of «Nights at the Mosque».
The case has caused controversy as right-wing parties claim that it is an invitation to child marriage. They have therefore demanded an explanation from the mosque located in an area with a predominantly migrant population: Neckarstadt-West, an area of Mannheim.
In their defense, representatives of the mosque deny the accusations. «Child marriage is neither the aim nor the content of the course»; said Khalil Khalil, a board member of the Islamic Workers Association.
He claimed that the aim of the course was to promote education, self-determination, equality and sexuality. However, his detractors insist that the words used in the invitation were misleading; In view of the commotion that the event generated and the subsequent criticism, the mosque postponed the event.
Right united against child marriage
One of the aspects that makes the mosque’s version of events more difficult to sustain is that the pamphlet included a quote from Al-Tabarani, an Islamic scholar from the 10th century. His phrase says: «Whoever marries has fulfilled half of their faith».
It was thanks to this quote that German portals such as Bild denounced their indignation by announcing: «A course that openly prepares children for marriage, right in the heart of Germany».
Right-wing parties have raised their voices. Although the left claims to be feminist and the spokesperson for women, the intersectionality of progressivism generates a hierarchy of people and immigrants, being recognized as more victims, are on a higher scale than women, in terms of victimization. Therefore, women do not deserve leftist support on these types of issues.
The CDU (Christian Democratic Union of Germany, by its German acronym), on the other hand, founded by Konrad Adenauer, publicly announced that «marriage from the age of 13 has no place in Germany».
In addition, it demands an official investigation into the issue and against the mosque that it accuses of promoting it. Likewise, the patriotic party AfD, accused of xenophobia by the progressive media for its stance against illegal immigration, claims that;it is a direct attack on the rights of girls and women; And insists that the case in question exposes the failure of immigration policy and how integration is not being achieved.

Child marriage rooted in Islamic culture
Although the mosque denies the accusations of the right-wingers, the truth is that Islam legitimizes child marriage. Its own prophet Mohammed married a girl and would have waited; until she was 9 years old to consummate (that is, have sexual relations with her), after having gotten engaged when she was barely 6/7 years old.
Colombia more advanced than Germany?

Since advanced nations like Germany coexist with cultures that allow behavior from the 7th century, where its prophet had an underage wife. At the same time, backward; nations that are not yet affected by political correctness are fighting these phenomena.
While in Germany, those who oppose and fight against multiculturalism, which ends up establishing moral relativism, are labelled as «far-right». That is why the progressive left, which claims to be feminist, now chooses to remain silent and not defend women and girls, since migrants are a higher priority for them.
