President Donald Trump provided an update on the condition of one of the National Guard members wounded in the recent attack in the capital. He stated that the young man “is fighting for his life” and is in “very serious” condition, though he expressed hope for “better news” in the coming hours.
Trump also noted that the attacker remains hospitalized and in critical condition, but firmly stated, “We’re not even going to talk about him,” dismissing any attention or relevance to the perpetrator of the attack.
