American commentator Glenn Beck stated that after a weekend dedicated to prayer, study, and reflection, he reached four clear conclusions about the current moment facing the country and the leadership of President Donald Trump.
The first and most important, he explained, is his trust in God. Beck said that regardless of how events unfold, he believes everything will ultimately develop according to divine will. He clarified that such faith does not mean passivity or abandoning civic responsibility, but rather acting with conviction while maintaining spiritual trust. “It doesn’t mean taking your hands off the wheel,” he said, but instead fulfilling personal and national duty under a higher moral guidance.
Second, he noted that he chose to examine the situation without partisan filters, asking fundamental questions: whether the current actions are moral and just, whether they serve the national interest, and what “America First” truly means. After this examination of conscience, Beck concluded that yes, the current approach fits within that vision and that it constitutes a “just war.” Nevertheless, he emphasized that each citizen should reach their own conclusion and not treat his opinion as unquestionable.
As a third point, he stressed that, in his view, this is not the same Trump of 2016. He argued that the president has demonstrated an understanding of “peace through strength,” acting decisively when he believes it is in the nation’s best interest, even if he is not someone who seeks war for its own sake. For Beck, this reflects greater strategic clarity and determination.
Finally, he acknowledged that even if he believes today’s decisions are correct, outcomes may not unfold as expected. That possibility, he said, brings him back to his first point: faith. According to Beck, the duty of every citizen is to do their part responsibly while trusting that the final outcome rests in God’s hands.
