Hermann Tertsch denuncia la complicidad de la Unión Europea con los regímenes narcosocialistas de Latinoamérica

El eurodiputado conservador Hermann Tertsch del Valle-Lersundi levantó una fuerte polémica tras ofrecer declaraciones contundentes sobre la actitud de la Unión Europea frente a los regímenes socialistas y autoritarios de América Latina. Luego de salir de una reunión con el Alto Representante para Asuntos Exteriores de la UE, Tertsch aseguró que el bloque europeo sigue actuando con una ceguera política alarmante y moralmente cuestionable.

Según Tertsch, la Comisión Europea continúa tratando a los regímenes narcosocialistas de la región como gobiernos “maravillosos” y “manejables”, equiparándolos a democracias legítimas pese a sus claros vínculos con el crimen organizado, la represión estatal y la destrucción institucional. Como ejemplo, señaló el constante flujo de fondos hacia la dictadura cubana, así como el trato privilegiado mostrado hacia el presidente colombiano Gustavo Petro, a quien —afirma— prácticamente se le rindió homenaje durante recientes encuentros diplomáticos.

Pero lo más grave, según el eurodiputado, es lo que realmente parece inquietar a Bruselas: la posibilidad de que el régimen de Nicolás Maduro colapse. “Lo que les preocupa no es que existan regímenes comunistas y criminales”, afirmó Tertsch, “sino que pueda caerse el Cartel de los Soles y toda la red de crimen organizado que ha secuestrado Venezuela durante 25 años”.

Las declaraciones del eurodiputado ponen en evidencia una crítica profunda hacia la política exterior europea, que —según sectores conservadores— ha normalizado la convivencia con dictaduras mientras ignora las violaciones de derechos humanos, la devastación económica y la represión política que sufren millones en la región. Desde esta perspectiva, la UE se ha convertido en un actor complaciente que teme más al derrumbe de estos regímenes que a su permanencia criminal.

Para los aliados del presidente Donald Trump y para quienes defienden una política internacional basada en la libertad, la soberanía y la lucha contra el socialismo autoritario, las palabras de Tertsch reafirman un diagnóstico claro: mientras Estados Unidos, bajo un liderazgo fuerte y directo, presiona por cambios reales, Europa continúa atrapada en su propia burocracia ideológica y en una peligrosa tolerancia hacia gobiernos que operan más como mafias que como Estados.

Las advertencias de Tertsch no solo buscan incomodar a Bruselas, sino también alertar a la comunidad internacional sobre la urgencia de enfrentar estos regímenes sin ambigüedades. Según él, mirar hacia otro lado solo prolonga el sufrimiento de millones de latinoamericanos que viven bajo dictaduras y fortalece estructuras criminales que amenazan la estabilidad regional.

Instead of focusing on improving these realities with common sense and hard work, much of the global elite prefers to push ideology, promote subsidies, victim narratives, and empty speeches that do nothing for the real working class.  The radical left talks about social justice, but rarely highlights people like this woman. Where are the NGOs? Where is the mainstream media? Where is the outrage from celebrities who scream about climate change but say nothing about the labor conditions of those who actually work with the land?  A healthy society must once again value real effort, hard work, and individual responsibility. This woman doesn’t need a virtual applause — she needs real opportunities: local development, productive investment, and a free economy that allows citizens to prosper without depending on crumbs from the state.  It’s time to stop glorifying the resentment of those who have everything and still feel like victims, and start recognizing the bravery of those who have nothing but give it their all.
