Kamala Harris in Her Defeat Against Trump: “The Tightest Election of the Century”

American politics has once again witnessed a pitiful spectacle from Kamala Harris, former vice president and defeated candidate in the presidential election against current President Donald J. Trump. In recent remarks, Harris claimed that the race was “the tightest presidential election of the 21st century.” A statement that, beyond sounding ridiculous, directly contradicts the official numbers: Trump defeated her with a margin of more than two million votes.
For millions of Americans, Harris’s words are not only a distortion of the truth, but also an insult to the intelligence of the people. A decisive defeat cannot be dressed up as if it were a technical tie.
Harris stated:
“It is the tightest presidential election of the 21st century in terms of results. And well, that’s part of the reason I wrote this book. Because history will talk about this election, it is part of American history, and it was important to me that, when history is written, my voice is present about what that experience was.”
The comparison is absurd. In the year 2000, the contest between George W. Bush and Al Gore was decided by just 537 votes in Florida. That was a truly close race, one that even required intervention from the Supreme Court.
What happened in the most recent election was completely different: Trump won comfortably, surpassing Harris by more than two million votes. That margin represents a clear popular mandate, not a tie. To call it “the tightest election of the century” is nothing more than a desperate attempt to disguise reality.
This is not a casual mistake or a misunderstanding. It is part of a broader Democratic strategy: to rewrite history in order to soften their defeats and feed into their narrative of victimhood.
Harris knows she lost decisively, yet she seeks to plant the idea that it was a narrow result in order to keep her political relevance alive. She talks about “history” and the importance of her “voice being present” in the books, as if she could manipulate collective memory.
The truth is that no book and no speech will ever erase the numbers: the American people chose Donald Trump to continue as president, and they did so with an undeniable margin.
While Harris insists on repeating that she had a “mandate,” the facts say otherwise. The real mandate was for Trump, who once again proved that he represents the interests and values of millions of patriots across the country.
Harris’s insistence on repeating a lie only reflects her insecurity: she knows she was rejected by the voters, she knows she failed to convince the nation, and now she desperately seeks to rebuild her political image. But the people do not forget.
Harris’s remarks have sparked outrage, especially among Republicans and conservatives who see in her words yet another attempt at manipulation. To them, the statements from the former vice president are not just a mistake, but a direct mockery of the popular mandate.
The American people voted, chose, and stood firmly behind Donald Trump as president. Denying that reality with flowery rhetoric changes nothing. It is an insult to the democratic will and a reminder of how Democratic leaders underestimate their citizens.
Kamala Harris can write all the books she wants and repeat a thousand times that the election was “the tightest of the 21st century.” But the truth is immovable: Donald J. Trump defeated Harris clearly, decisively, and with a real mandate from the American people.
Republicans will not allow this false narrative to stand as the historical record. The election was not close. It was not a tie. It was a clear victory for Trump and a crushing defeat for Harris.
History is not written by resentful politicians or manipulated speeches. History is written by facts. And the facts are clear: Donald Trump is the legitimate president of the United States because the people decided so with millions of votes of difference.
