Marco Rubio asserts that Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons under Trump (VIDEO)

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the threat posed by Iran is hidden behind missiles and drones, emphasizing that the regime sought to reach a point where no one could interfere with its nuclear program.

Rubio argued that the Iranians intended to act without restrictions, developing their nuclear capabilities without limits or international oversight. However, he stressed that under President Donald Trump’s administration, this would not be possible. “There is no way in the world that this terrorist regime would obtain nuclear weapons, not under the supervision of Donald Trump,” he declared, highlighting the firm and preventative role of the White House in addressing the Iranian nuclear threat.

The official added that recent history demonstrates how Iran has used ballistic missiles, drones, and support for proxy groups to expand its influence in the region, including attacks on U.S. allies and deployed military forces in the Middle East. According to Rubio, this strategy would have allowed Tehran to advance its nuclear program without consequences if a strong leadership had not been in place to control its actions.

Furthermore, Rubio emphasized the importance of cooperation with strategic regional allies, such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, to establish a unified stance against Iranian threats. He noted that the Trump administration’s preventive approach not only protects U.S. security but also seeks to ensure regional stability and deter hostile actions by state and non-state actors supported by Iran.

With these statements, Rubio reaffirmed that U.S. foreign policy under Trump combines vigilance, deterrent force, and strategic alliances to ensure that Iran never attains nuclear capabilities that could endanger the United States or its international partners.
