María Corina Machado expressed explicit support for President Donald Trump’s strategy toward the Venezuelan regime, including tougher measures such as seizures and possible blockades. Machado stated that the Venezuelan people are grateful to Trump and his administration, whom she considers defenders of freedom in the hemisphere.
Speaking from Oslo, Machado said she even dedicated her Nobel Prize to the U.S. president, emphasizing that, for the first time, Venezuela has been placed as a strategic priority within the national security framework of the United States.
