Putin says new version of Trump’s peace plan could serve as basis for a final agreement
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that after the negotiations in Alaska with the United States, there was a pause in the diplomatic process, which he attributed to Ukraine’s refusal to accept the peaceful settlement plan proposed by President Donald Trump.
According to Putin, this situation led to the creation of a new version of the plan, now expanded to 28 points. He said that Moscow already has the document, received through existing channels of communication with the U.S. administration.
The president emphasized that this updated version could serve as the basis for a definitive peace agreement, highlighting Russia’s willingness to move forward toward a negotiated solution.
