Amid massive protests against Iran’s regime, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi was asked why he would be the right person to lead a democratic transition in a country of more than 90 million people.
Pahlavi replied that trust is not imposed, but proven through reality. He stated that if the Iranian people did not believe in his ability or trust him, there would not be millions in the streets across Iran chanting his name and calling for his return. For the exiled heir, that public support is a clear sign of the current situation inside the country and the people’s desire for change.
His remarks come as protests continue to grow, reflecting rising rejection of the regime and the search for a political alternative for Iran’s future.
