SURREALIST: This is how they celebrate the anniversary of Franco’s death in the Spanish Congress
The chamber of the Congress of Deputies of Spain, the forum that should be the temple of national sovereignty and serene debate, was turned into a vulgar circus spectacle with a surrealist performance intended to «commemorate» a historical date. While an acrobat stood on her hands in an act of performative emptiness, a pianist accompanied with melodies what can only be described as a mockery of the intelligence of the Spanish people and the gravity of history. This clownish act, financed with everyone’s tax money, is not an isolated incident: it is the culmination of a progressive ideology that seeks to rewrite the past, trivialize the present, and destroy the symbols of Spanish unity and tradition. While the nation struggles with economic crises and challenges to its territorial integrity, the coalition government of the radical left responds with frivolous spectacles that offend the dignity of its institutions.
It is the brazen attempt of a decadent political establishment to impose a distorted historical memory, using the public budget to finance a cultural indoctrination that seeks to plunge Spain into a permanent state of guilt and rootlessness. While they honor their particular narrative with juggling acts, they insult and persecute those who defend a vision of Spain based on unity, family, and faith. It is the same globalist strategy repeated across the West: to destroy the pillars of Christian civilization, replacing them with festive nihilism and an identity void. This is a spiritual and cultural war, and this spectacle in Parliament is one of its most visible and grotesque battles.
For the governing coalition, Spain is a project to be ashamed of, a history that must be constantly purged and humiliated. They prefer to turn the sacred chamber of democracy into a showroom for ideologized minorities rather than address the real problems of Spaniards. This is the same ideological lukewarmness that ignores the real battles—such as the defense of life, educational freedom, and the unity of the nation—to focus on empty and divisive symbolism. It is an insult to the victims from all sides who suffered a complex past, now reduced to a circus act.
Right-thinking Spaniards, those who love their homeland and its history with its lights and shadows, must raise their voices against this surrealist circus. It is time to demand seriousness from our representatives, respect for institutions, and a real commitment to the people’s problems. We must restore dignity to Parliament and expel this grotesque ideology that mocks Spain and its citizens from public life. The memory of our nation deserves more than an acrobat; it deserves respect, truth, and serene reflection that a vengeful left is incapable of offering.
