Trump also recalled that he won the vote of auto workers in the last election, emphasizing that even union leaders —traditionally aligned with Democrats— have acknowledged his performance. “Even the head of the auto workers said: ‘Trump is the best president we’ve ever seen.’ And it turns out he’s right,” Trump stated confidently, making clear who is positioning himself as the true defender of the working class.
The president stressed that his administration is making it possible for every American family to afford high-quality vehicles at accessible prices while restoring factories that had been closed for decades. He reminded the public that the United States had lost “52% of its auto manufacturing” over the years —a decline tied to outsourcing, poorly negotiated trade deals, and the complacency of previous administrations.
