Zelensky claims that Trump lives in a bubble of disinformation

Zelensky: «In principle, I never comment on ratings, because I think commenting on ratings about myself or other leaders is not appropriate. Probably, it indicates that some political battles are taking place, elections are coming. We don’t have that. This morning, a poll was released. I know, I’m aware of it, but I don’t comment on it officially. But now that it has come, now that the time has come, we will take the initiative. Let me say, yes, first of all, today it came out. Trust in me is 57% according to a survey, and I heard 57 plus percent from different polls.

So if someone wants to replace me right now, it won’t happen. I would say the story of 4 percent, we’ve seen this disinformation, we understand that it’s coming from Russia. We understand this and we have evidence, that these numbers are being discussed between America and Russia. Well, I mean, unfortunately, President Trump was treated with great respect as a leader by the people, whom we highly respect, the American people, who constantly support us. Unfortunately, they live in this disinformation space and the question is not even what my support is, the issue is that what’s important are those ratings, which we focus on.

Number one today, the question is, how do we protect ourselves from shelling? I think that’s the number one issue. Well, I know from all the polls that this is the number one issue for Ukrainians.»
