Fake news reporter Seth Harp attempted to reveal the identity of the highly secretive Delta Force unit commander who carried out the capture of Maduro
The left-wing journalist Seth Harp has been accused of attempting to reveal the classified identity of the Delta Force commander, the secret elite unit that carried out the bold capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro on January 3, 2026.
This operation, codenamed «Absolute Resolve», culminated with Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores detained in Caracas and transferred to New York to face charges for drug trafficking and weapons.
Harp, author of The Fort Bragg Cartel, deleted his post and locked his X account after the massive backlash.
Harp posted on X: «This is the current commander of Delta Force, whose men just invaded a sovereign country, killed a bunch of innocents, and kidnapped the rightful president. (By the way, it is perfectly legal for a US reporter to disclose classified material the leakage of which I did not procure)», attaching the name, photo, and details of the commander, according to screenshots shared by users.
In his defense, he argued: «It’s legal to disclose classified material…», but he is rather a traitor for putting national security at risk. The original post, now deleted, went viral quickly.
This action by Harp unmasks the «anti-American» agenda of certain media outlets: while true heroes risk their lives in the frontline fight against narcoterrorism, these prioritize a selective and opportunistic ‘transparency’ that endangers vital operations and, potentially, human lives.
How is it possible for a journalist to put the life of the Delta Force commander and his family at risk by exposing classified information?
Everything indicates that his main motivation is to steal the spotlight and generate clicks, above national security.
This is not freedom of the press; it is a serious ethical failure that compromises the safety of those who defend the U.S., potentially violating laws such as the Espionage Act.
At a time when Delta Force achieves a historic triumph against Maduro’s socialist regime, actions like this reveal leftist hypocrisy: defending dictators while attacking our military.
