More than 10,000 Iranians and Canadian supporters marched in Richmond Hill, north of Toronto, in solidarity with protests against the Iranian regime. The largely peaceful demonstration prominently featured the historic Lion and Sun flag, a symbol of Iran prior to 1979, alongside Canadian and other national flags. Participants denounced repression in Iran and expressed support for political change, as part of a broader mobilization by the Iranian diaspora worldwide.
