JD Vance: Many media outlets lie about the work that law enforcement does (VIDEO)

Vice President JD Vance stated that enforcing immigration laws is a fundamental responsibility of the federal government and the central purpose of his visit, warning that the work will continue with further actions ahead. After meeting with agents on the ground, he said he confirmed the magnitude of the challenges they face and highlighted the commitment and professionalism of law enforcement.

Vance accused many media outlets of distorting or lying about the agents’ daily work, ignoring the context of extreme pressure and chaos in which they operate. While acknowledging that isolated mistakes can occur, he emphasized that the vast majority act properly under extraordinarily difficult circumstances.

The vice president also condemned harassment and intimidation by far-left agitators, noting that such actions prevent agents from doing their jobs and put lives at risk. He stressed that peaceful protest is a right, but any assault on law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by the Trump administration and the Department of Justice.

As an example of the climate of violence, he cited a recent incident in Minneapolis in which off-duty ICE agents, previously exposed online, were harassed by a group of agitators at a restaurant, forcing federal agents to intervene to protect their lives. Vance concluded by reiterating his full support for agents operating in an increasingly hostile and dangerous environment.
