Left-wing extremists storm church in Minnesota, sparking outrage (VIDEO)

A group of far-left protesters stormed Cities Church, a Baptist congregation in St. Paul, Minnesota, last Sunday, disrupting a religious service and provoking strong condemnation from community leaders and federal authorities. The incident was captured on video and shared on social media, showing protesters chanting political slogans against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and creating a chaotic scene in the presence of families and worshippers inside the church.

The protesters, organized in part by groups such as Black Lives Matter Minnesota, demanded the removal of ICE.

The response from the U.S. Department of Justice was immediate: it opened an investigation into potential violations of federal civil rights laws and the FACE Act, which protects the right of individuals to practice their religion without interference or violence. Authorities noted that desecrating a place of worship and obstructing a religious service may constitute a federal crime.

The federal government and the White House have strongly condemned the disruption, accusing Minnesota local leaders, including Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, of failing to prevent escalating tensions and allowing radical agitators to act unchecked. The White House spokesperson described the protesters’ actions as unacceptable and dangerous, stressing that basic lines of respect for places of worship were crossed.

Christian leaders and religious figures have expressed alarm over the incident, emphasizing that churches must remain safe and respected spaces for the practice of faith, free from violent disruptions and political confrontations. Some pastors warned that such actions not only affect those present, but also threaten the religious freedom guaranteed by the Constitution.

The episode adds to a growing climate of polarization in the United States surrounding ICE operations and immigration, where progressive sectors have intensified protests while authorities simultaneously reinforce calls to uphold law and order and protect the fundamental rights of all citizens. In this context, federal intervention seeks to send a clear message: violence or the disruption of religious services as a form of protest will not be tolerated or justified.
