Trump calls for a return to paper ballots to prevent fraud and strengthen election security (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump insisted on the need to reform the electoral system in United States in order to guarantee safer and more transparent processes. During his remarks, he stated that the country should return to the use of paper ballots, arguing that this method would be more reliable and far more economical than the voting machines currently in use.

He assured that even if the change were to cost several times more, it would still be a necessary decision for the nation’s security. However, he maintained that the real cost would only be a small fraction, estimating that paper ballots represent around 8% of the expense associated with electronic machines. He also questioned the business behind these systems, suggesting that economic interests have pushed for their continued use.

The president explained that modern paper includes advanced technologies such as watermarks, which are practically impossible to copy or falsify, helping to prevent manipulation of election results.

He also proposed four key measures to strengthen electoral integrity: returning to paper ballots, holding elections on a single day, requiring mandatory voter identification, and proof of citizenship to participate in elections. According to him, these reforms would help restore confidence in the democratic system.
